In 2014, our Founder John E. Gunzner (John Sr.) was named an Honorary Life Member by the Mountain States Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association due to his lifetime contributions to the industry, the community, and our business.
In 1983 John Sr. was awarded Lumberman of the Year by MSLBMDA.

The Mountain States Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (MSLBMDA) is an organization of lumberyards and suppliers throughout CO, WY, NM, and some of Texas, AZ, UT, and NE.
The award is given for exemplary work in the industry and the community. Given to people with high ethics and standard, and being a leader in personal, profession and civic life.
John Jr. was awarded this honor in 2016, following up on John Sr’s. award in 1983.
