Front Range Lumber Company is a large Milgard door and window “Certified Dealer”.  With our seven truck fleet delivering to the expanded Denver metropolitan area at below average delivery fees, and one of the best, newest full line Milgard showrooms, and experienced salesmen, we are a “major league” choice for you!

Why do we represent Milgard? Milgard is one of the largest window manufacturers in the United States, especially the western states.  The vinyl windows that we represent are produced in Aurora keeping the lead times short.  All Milgard windows are serviced by a full time staff based at that plant, reducing warranty related waits dramatically.

Milgard offers everything that we need to provide you with great products:
 - Local representation and service
- Excellent warranty, including condensation coverage, commonly excluded from many
popular brands. (See Milgard warranty for details)
- Products have Milgard’s logo on them allowing future identification for warranty or
   replacement parts.
- Short lead times, including special orders

Why pick Front Range Lumber Company for your window needs? Since 1964, we have had a reputation for service and product knowledge.  Our family owners and helpful experienced sales people are not on commission, yet offer an “old-fashioned” sales experience for you.  The same person that talks to you today will probably be here when you need their help again in the future.

We do not install; most of our customers install themselves.  Purchasing from a non-installing dealer is an obvious advantage to you:  A clear and reasonable price for the windows without being mixed with high priced installation costs.

What do I need to know to intelligently purchase windows?  Some of this is the same for any large purchase:  How long has the company been in business?  How good is the warranty (read the fine print)?  How close is the service department?  Can I talk to somebody that has experience with this product?  Kick the tires by having features pointed out to you.  Find out how long the sales person has sold the product/brand.  Look at a good showroom, brochures, and other handouts.

To really make a window decision, you must decide how you will make a decision, what features are most important to you?  Price, energy saving features, good reputation, warranty?

So what about installation?  Front Range Lumber Company does not install.  Our niche is to sell you a competitively priced product that we are thoroughly knowledgeable about.  We may be able to give you some contractor references.  Installation deserves your careful consideration. We meet people that really investigate windows then casually decide on a contractor based on his price only!  Our advice is that you either need to find a contractor that you can fully trust or else educate yourself on how windows are installed.

You could get two bids that represent totally different installation methods.  You should be in control of these methods:  Will trims be removed?  What brand caulk will be used?  If the new windows are wider than the old, how will they be fitted?

Ironically, we hear of many installations so poor they cancel many of the benefits of a new window.

Please come see us!  Many of our customers told us that they have not been told about egress, installation, options before they come to us.  We are not pushy, we just want to sell your windows that you will be happy with!
